The transformative journey of these women began with their encounter with Trans4orm Ghana, an organization committed to empowering dreamers who lack guidance and support.Through Trans4form Ghan’s holistic assistance and community engagement, this initiative has reignited hope and resilience, illustrating the profound impact of their lives. These young women, each with unique backgrounds and challenges, have had their lives profoundly changed thanks to this organization.
Nineteen-year-old Nutifafa Kloboe hails from the Oti region, where her upbringing as the daughter of peasant farmers instilled in her the desire for a better life. Her journey took a turn when she left home to work as a househelp and shop attendant, only to face hunger and mistreatment from her employers. A traumatic experience with a female pastor's fiancé led her to a crucial rescue by Trans4orm Ghana. With renewed hope and her parents' consent, Nutifafa found refuge and embarked on a new path, training as a dressmaker in Ho, the Volta region's capital. For 25-year-old Joyce Eweh, the loss of her father brought its own set of challenges. With her mother struggling to provide in the central Tongu district, Joyce reached out to Trans4orm to pursue her dream of dressmaking. The organization responded by enrolling her in a dressmaking program, complete with free accommodation. Joyce's dedication and the support she received culminated in her recognition as the best dressmaking apprentice in Ho Municipality where she stood out among over 150 contestants this year ( 2025).
Jennifer Akli, 26, is a single mother working tirelessly to support her six-year-old daughter. Raised by a single parent herself, Jennifer's challenges led her to seek assistance from Trans4orm. The organization embraced her aspirations, enrolling her in a dressmaking program that empowered her to follow her passion and secure a brighter future for both herself and her child.
These compelling stories underscore the significant impact of Trans4orm Ghana's work in empowering individuals through holistic support and vocational training. Nutifafa, Joyce, and Jennifer are among hundredsof young people supported by Trans4orm Ghana; they are testament to the transformative power of community support. Through determination and opportunity, they are building promising futures for themselves and their families, illustrating the enduring impact of upliftment and empowerment in their communities.
